Gradient heat and pools

I have seen where folks heat 3/4 of the back wall. I am wanting to put my pools on the front (with bubblers and filters) in each corner. There will be a small topper over the pool on the cooler end. Which pool should be on the warmest end? Fresh or saltwater?

As far as I know, there isn't really a right or a wrong place to put the pools, it's not like one of them has to be warm and one of them has to be cool. It's sometimes suggested that people put their pools next to the heated wall to increase evaporation and help keep the humidity high. That's what I did, both of my pools are side by side, maybe an inch away from the heated side. But in the past I've placed them both on the cool end without problem.

You'll see more evaporation from the warmer pool, so fresh will be easier in the long run!
