I just started getting crazy amount of mold growth in my hermit crab tank, it’s in the sand and everywhere on surface. Any ideas!?..

What's it look like? It doesn't normally grow in the sand, just on top.

My best guess would be that the crabs scattered their food around the tank, and it subsequently got moldy.

It’s around this wooden hut I have and the hut is in the sand as well
