Substrate question

I have a 40g breeder tank with 2 medium PP. I am going to reorganize and move things around and add some features this coming weekend and as part of this- will be adding more substrate.

I have a Rubbermaid tub of made up substrate that’s been on my front porch for the past few weeks and would like to use it if I could.

It hasn’t been covered but it’s in a screened in porch and doesn’t appear anything’s gotten in there.

Can I use it, or do I need to scrap it?

I used a bag of play sand that sat on my front porch for an entire Canadian Prairie year! So I'm going to say yes!
