need some advice please

I got my new 28g tank today and tomorrow I'm going to home depot to find something for a lid. What should I use to keep humidity in the best. And second. I'd like to get a light to help with heating and I live to far from a pet store and was curious if home depot might have one i could use? I'm super excited about getting my hermies out of my 10g and into this bigger home. Thanks for any advice.

A few sections of plexi glass should be good for alid. Lighting...hhmmmm...not sure...

You can get a light fixture there, but depending on the type of bulb you want to use, you might have to take a trip to a pet store or order one online. HD would have regular incandescent & florescent bulbs, but not UV reptile type bulbs like a lot of people use. Probably would have some sort of plant grow lights that could work, but I don't really know much about them.

This is what I have right now:
I got the lighting fixture at Home Depot for about $3, and the bulb was $3 or $4. Pretty cheap considering the heat it puts out!
