I am currently deep cleaning my cage and have taken all the old sand out and am putting in new. I am meticulously straining it as it goes in to keep out large rocks and whatever else (it's play sand) and my arm is getting tired! Can I just dump the bag in?

I did. The way I figure it, they live on beaches where mother nature didn't strain the sand, so rocks and such would be normal for them. I just added salt water to the sand to get the right consistancy and mixed some EE in with it and poured away. Good luck
