Missing for weeks

Post by TazandBruce3 » Sat Aug 20, 2016 2:11 am

Please help!! I haven't seen my crab, Gatsby, in more than two weeks and I thought that he was molting. My mom woke me up about 15 minutes ago with Gatsby in his shell. She said "is he dead?" And I knew he wasn't because he didn't smell. He is barely moving, if at all. My mom found him in her bathroom with two of his legs off. I know that shedding of limbs is a sign of extreme stress. She says she went to use the bathroom and saw him. I left some fresh veggies and unflavored cooked shrimp. I misted my ISO and refilled the water bowls. What else should I do?

All you can do is leave him ISO'd in good conditions. Some raw honey and smashed eggshells would probably be beneficial as well.

I have him so eggshell, and I'll try the honey. Thank you!
