i dont know, i think they both molted a few months ago

20 gal glass tank with mesh lid (plastic wrap on top of lid)

my 3rd hermit crab was murdered a month ago

Blue, one of the hermies, was hiding under the water dish, i found him today and it appears he has ripped off his small claw and a few legs, he has enough food and calcium though! why did he do this and how can I help him?
