HELP!! CRACKED SHELL (new hermit owner)

My hermit crab’s Shell cracked today and i was wondering if he would be ok until thursday because the new shells dont come until then. Do i need to do anything special for him or what?

He needs his shell to be able to hold water or his abdomen will dry out and he will die. Thursday is a few days away, so I would say it's best to find a turbo that would fit him, it doesn't have to be the best, but it's better then a shell that has a crack in it. I'm also worried about pieces off of it due to more cracking (because there already a weak spot) and hurting his abdomen.

When you say it cracked - where exactly is the crack? How large? Do you know what happened for it to crack?
I see you are using Tapatalk - could you post a photo of the cracked shell (with the crab in it of course)?
It is Tuesday, so it's only a couple of days at most before your new shells come.

The crack is on lower part of the shell , it doesn’t go all the way across his shell but its still kinda big. The way it cracked was my fault, he pinched me and out of reflex i flicked my hand also I couldnt get the clearest photo so i outlined it
its a thin crack and hasn’t chipped so i think thats good

Oh yeah, it isn't chipping away so he could be good! It's painted however, which is a no no! Did you order natrual shells, is that what is coming Thursday? If so, I can't wait to see his new natrual pants! He's gonna look so handsome! So glad you are providing him good care, way to go!

Oh dear, so you flicked your hand and the crab fell/ hit the floor hard enough to crack the shell?
He looks like he hasn't molted in a while. How long have you had him?
Hopefully he changes into one of your new shells that is coming tomorrow. Boil them for a few minutes (you can use plain tap water for boiling them), then give them a dip into your salt water (if you have it - if not, no worries) before putting them in the tank.
