I get small mold spots that grow off tiny food specks because the crabs like to sit in the food bowl and it clings to them so if I don't spot clean every day the tiny pieces get moldy, and if I can't see one because it's so tiny (finely grounds up food) it makes mold and I just take a big scoop around the spot and have no further troubles
