This crab may not have been dead. We advise leaving them in the tank until it smells like rotten death smell. It may have been resting.

I left him alone awhile and there was definitely a smell coming from him. Also it had been several days after he molted and there was no movement at all.

Right off the bat i think this needs to be moved/posted in emergency or maybe crabitat care. Also please fill out the emergency template. First their humidity and temperature are just in side the safe zone. Try to keep it between 80-90 for Pps. They do settle in and are more active at night/early morning. So they might be coming out and eating/drinking/ect while you sleep. Also them doing it less often can relate to them being too cold and too dry. So again raising temp/humidity will help. The template will help with a more in depth whats going on. I know you mentioned the water dish having a hole and changing the sub. Did you change all of it? Incase of mold. Also its safe to assume your not still using that bowl correct?

Wow. Im really sorry you feel that way. The fourm has rules and the post was posted in many many sections causing clutter. They kept it or moved it to the proper place where some members have already started answering and offering aid. Im sorry you feel that way. I love hca.
