New crab burried w/o shell

I found Sandy! ...in a shell; no signs of molting at all. I nearly broke a sweat I was so nervous while I was searching. I feel stupid for not knowing and horrible for bringin Sandy up. Now that I think back, it was a shell I never intended to be in the tank because it was kinda small, but my daughter wanted to use it as decoration anyway because it looks like a giraffe pattern. But I fixed the substrate depth and gave them a sardine for a treat. Hopefully all will be well from here out. Thanks again everyone.
