It’s so funny bc I would give someone in my position the exact same advice…but it’s different when it’s your own. Now that I know he could be molting and not dying, I will not peek anymore and just keep everything he needs up to par! Thank you again for all of your insight!

Leave him be until he comes out. Then make sure he has access to calcium, minerals and healing foods.

I’ve already got a fresh plate in there full of all the good stuff he needs when he’s ready! I won’t be messing with him…I’m usually very hands off and good with trusting their little crabby instincts. I only checked on him bc I thought he had passed. I will gladly leave him in peace while he goes through his process. He’s got a great dark spot in his hut and his tank is 75% dark, but he has a corner for light when he’s ready. I’ve got my WyzeCam on him too so that I can keep an eye out for movement. High hopes he’s gonna be ok! Still keep thinking bout his poor little self, naked under all that sub in the corner. He’s at least better off than he was! Tough lil guy

I love this place! I miss everyone, haha. My update is a good one. I saw my lil Turbs move around in his hut! He didn’t come out, but he was standing up and facing the other direction. My camera only records 12 seconds when movement is detected and will only record if there’s movement every 5 min…so that’s all I saw, but it’s a positive sign and I wanted share.

Yay! Great news!
If you can, grab yourself a micro SD card for your camera. My notification videos are only 12 sec, but with the card, it will also continue recording in the "View Playback" area until movement has stopped. When your watching the playback, you can hit the record button to make your own video too.

I keep telling myself to get an SD card, but then I never remember when I’m out, lol. Sometimes my videos are all I have to watch…when I don’t see any of them out and about during the day.

WHEN Turbo heals though, he will be my guy that’s out in the daytime!

Update: Turbo seems to have consumed all of his exo and has come out of his hut. He is currently on the other side of the tank under a leafy hide. Changed out his food (fuzzies) and couldn’t really tell if he had eaten any. Either way, he’s out and about!

Wondering, how long should I keep him in iso before he goes back to the big tank with everybody?

Good to hear Turbo is moving around! I'm not an expert, but I'd say give him another week to really get his strength back. But that's just me being extra cautious lol.

Well, I replied, but the system apparently ate my response.

Once he is up and around and his activity level seems normal, he should be okay to join the others. However, if he seems injured or like he might need to molt again right away to maybe repair any damage he may have incurred from the shell-abandonment incident (whatever caused that), you might want to let him stay in iso, if there is deep enough substrate in there?
