I wonder if making something like this in the first two steps could be helpful? You can offer lots of things inside of it, plus it's easy to pick apart for a weaker crab. I also think it might be appealing because it's warm. I think it could be an easy way to get him to eat and get key parts of his diet. If you think he is molting cover the tank with a towel or something to make it dark for him. It will help release the molting hormone ecdysone. Keep offering the honey as it is a easy high energy food. He will need it if he is truly molting. :/
