Naked and limp.

Strangeship, my E, has been naked for the past three days. I have tried again and again to get him into a shell but he refused. He has been in isolation and I have been bathing him everyday because I worried about dehydration. Yesterday I placed him in his food bowl and he walked off back to the igloo so he had strength. This morning I go to check on him and he won't move at all. I won't have a funeral until there is a death smell but I wonder, should I still bathe him? Just in case?

Honestly, I wouldn't. I would keep him isolated with shells close by. Keep humidity up and food and water close and easily accessible. I imagine regular bathing would just add to his stress. Getting him reshelled is important though. Have you tried the glass cup method? Or helping him into a slightly too big shell?

Thank you so much =) I have tried both methods but he just leaves the shell.

I hope he decides to put one on and keep it on soon! Maybe try again after a few hours? Keep us updated.

Thank you =) I hope so too. So far he hasn't moved at all. I worry he has passed.
