okay, so earlier this week, we took in two additional crabs. I came here and was told that my 10 gallon was too small with my new additions- so I just set up a sweet 36 gallon. However, the heater has not arrived yet. the temp has been fluctuating between 68 and 70 for the last hour.
the two new crabs have buried, but they are medium sized and my 3 current crabs (who are up) are small and teeny. the question is, do I move the 3 up crabs to the new tank, where the temp is low (heater comes tomorrow) or do I leave them in their current tank, and risk that they will burry with the two larger crabs? I stole most of the decor out of their current tank to get things set in the new tank. though, they still have hide aways and some moss, food, water, etc.
thoughts? move, or not move?
Not sure if I should move my crabs or not
Re: Not sure if I should move my crabs or not
to clarify- I know to not move the two new crabs that are down. they will stay in the 10g until they come up on their own. I just need to know if I should move the 3 current crabs- so they don't go down.

I personally would not move them until the heater comes and the temp and humidity are stable.

Yea, one day shouldn't make much difference. Just have a plan for ISOing until then, if needed
