IDK how to help him or if he needs help:( he is unable to climb down, he managed to get up in a sneaky way ...

I also can't pick him up off of it because he's pinching the wire top

Mine like to gracefully leap from the lid into the water dishes. :lol:

When I first started crabbing, I would always pry them off the lid because I would worry. Now my theory is if they got themselves up there, they can get themselves down one way or another.

yup, mine do it too. I only worry when they push the heat lamp and climb through the small space to the outside top of the tank. :x
He will come/fall down when he is ready.

I think this is one of those first kid/third kid type things. Everyone freaks out the first time they see their hermits do it. :) By the time you've had them for a while you'll start to roll your eyes at them instead!

haha I used to jump out of bed when I heard the thunks and clunks of them falling. Now I can't sleep without it. I worry when its quiet :hlol:

My big and small crabs do that, manage to get down safe and sound all by themselves. The lid is just another climber to them, everything is lol

What if she fell from roof of crabitat into water dish? She is walking around but is she all right?
