SO like few months ago in mayb november or early december my hermit crab molted in this iso box that was relaly shallow but good enough for a medium crab to molt in, he dug underneath this food box i had and ever since he has molted there. SO occasianlly I check up on him and he sleeps or whatever and hes doing fine maybe? Today, I checked up on him and he ate all of his exo and he dug a little outside of his "cave" and when I checked on him he was awkae and saw me but he kinda slowly semi hide from me but when I checked again he was awkae and his body was outside like a regular hermit crab but not so good looking in color. SO whats happening and should I let him leave his molting cave or will he leave by himself?

As long as the tank conditions are okay, leave him be... Molts can change their coloring.

a) If it's his first moult, it's common for them to loose their colour. The shipping process from the wild to your tat often leads to malnourished crabbies. It often takes a few moults before they regain their proper colouration.
b) If he has moulted with you before, directly after a moult crabs can look washed out. They will then regain colouration a few days afterwards.

Either way, he is fine. :)

Should I let him be or should I do anything?
