SO I just got a new ecuadorian and he was like staring down my other Ecuadorian few minutes after I put them together and they were like staring down at each other and put their legs in the air against each other. Should I be worried or no cuz the new hermit crab was watching my other one while he was running away...

I would keep an eye on them for shell fights. But that sounds like the new crab was asserting dominance to me.

Did you dip the new crab into the existing freshwater of the tank before you put your crab in there? Also, make sure there is plenty of "d" type shells for the e's, LOTS of protein, and digging space.

Just sounds like the usual "rough and tumble" as the crabs develop a hierarchy.
