Thank you so much guys! Im so happy I have some people who can help! I read the guides and I have 2 other ecuadorians and around 80 degree temp and 80% humdidity. Also, I have hermit crab patch food including the basic diet and turf protein stuff plus calcium additionals. Hopefully he can molt soon!
[quote][quote="GotButterflies"]Hello and welcome! I've attached the links that Kermie mentioned below. Your e will grow them back with the next molt if given the proper nutrition. Provide lots of calcium. Egg shells (whole/crushed), Calcium Carbonate, crushed oyster shells, coral, cuttle bone, sea urchin are a few examples. E's need A LOT of protein. Shrimp, grasshoppers, crickets, mealworms, bloodworms, salmon, chicken, clam, liver are what I give mine. Organic raw honey is a must also. I personally give freeze dried insects and raw meats to my crabbies. Occasionally I will offer a steamed lobster tail shell or clam, etc as a treat. We are here to help!

Please make sure you read the stickies on this forum for general crab care and crabitat conditions. Also I would also recommend the stickies on Ecuadorian hermit crabs as they require more digging space, another species buddy, and humidity and heat in the 80's. They also require extra animal proteins. So this leads me to have u review the safe foods list for hermit crabs as well. I wish I could attach all the links on this post, but I'm unsure how to do this via Tapatalk. Sorry! I can reassure you with proper living conditions and a good variety in foods - both dried and fresh organic, ur hermie will hopefully go down for a molt soon and should be able to re-grow all limbs
. Some power yummies for ur hermie for now would be good sources of calcium (egg shells, cutter bone, crushed oyster or egg shells), organic peanut butter, organic raw honey. I would also add good sources of protein - what I typically give my guys is hard boiled eggs, boiled chicken, boiled beef, raw shrimp, steamed clams, blood worms, dried crickets, tuna or salmon, or dried anchovies. Again, please read over the stickies mentioned - I'm pretty sure I read all those stickies about 100 times to make sure I had everything right for my hermies. If you have any questions further questions, don't hesitate to ask! There are many of us HCA members, newbies and experienced willing to help in any way possible:) Oh, and btw, we LOVE hermie pics!!!
