Crossing my fingers for you!

If you feel nervous, you might keep a cut off soda bottle nearby, just in case, so you can iso him in a hurry. You never know when you might need it. :)

Thank you! Pinchy has been showing interest in climbing all over Turbo in the last 10 minutes and I've had to separate them twice so I may have to ISO sooner rather than later. Rather be safe than sorry with this situation.

@Hermias_mom I did a quick makeshift ISO for Turbo as Pinchy wouldn't leave him alone, safe to say that he's dug down again! He may have just needed some extra protection to be able to dig again. How long should I keep the makeshift ISO tank in the actual tank?

Until he's moving around normally again and has finished whatever he was doing (digging, most likely molting). You can put bottle caps of water and food in the ISO if there's space but he won't need it until after his molt.

Edit: If you're using a soda bottle for an ISO (and not an in-tank kritter keeper), just remove it once he's up and walking around normally. No need for food and water inside the soda bottle - I wouldn't move the soda bottle ISO at ALL, especially to put anything inside it. Personally I like to check to be sure the crab's color is right first. If he's really pale, orange, or translucent, he may need a bit more time, but they usually don't come up on their own from a molt until they're fully done with the molt, so you probably won't see pale, orange, or translucent. Thought I'd mention it though. Also, you have Austrailian LHCs, I'm familiar with PP coloration. I think the orange/pale/translucent color indication is the same for both species, but you might check.

When Slowpoke finished his first molt, he was quite a vibrant shade of orange which slowly faded to a creamy off-white over time. His big claw was still orange when I last saw him. Turbo and Pinchy are more brown with darker brown markings. If Turbo comes up a slightly off colour I'll definitely give him more time.
