I adopted this guy a few weeks ago and he has finished molting and ate his exoskeleton. First time I have seen him since I got him. He looks great! I'm guessing 15 years old; past owner had him for 10 years. Now he is in ISO still. I don't want to move him in with my other guys until they all transition into the 40 gallon, however, it is going to take me at least another week or two to get it all ready for them.... should I keep him alone and let him do his thing? He's been alone for some time now and is pretty content. Or should I take one of my guys from the main tank and give him a buddy?

Depending on how big his ISO is, you could do either. Being alone for a little while longer won't hurt him, but he may enjoy a friend.

Yeah I think I might just keep him be for now. He seems pretty happy and there is a major size difference between him and my other guys who are all small/medium and this guy is very large. I think it would be easier for everyone to meet in a whole new setting.

Just a heads up, once all togethor a quick dip in the FW so they all smell the same - to reduce aggression - would be a good idea!

Yes! Was planning on that! With a dunk in some freshwater and a brand new setting for everyone there shouldn't be any issues with territory.
