Where can I get a good thermostat/hydrometer?
Where can I get a good thermostat/hydrometer?
Hi, I’m currently getting supplies to get a hermit crab(I don’t have any yet), and I need a good thermometer/ hydrometer. Does anybody have any recommendations? I saw someone said to get a digital one is better than analog, and someone suggested acurite but I don’t know which specific one. Can someone send me a link to a good thermometer/hydrometer?
I have had pets in the past, but my family can’t have any furry or feathered ones due to allergies. I usually try my best to help and currently trying to set up a crabitat. I also try to treat others with Love!❤️

Pretty much any digital dual gauge will work. I believe Acurite gauges are the go to because they can be found at most stores. We get ours at Lowes for around $12-$14. The Acurite we get gives the current readings in a larger number and it also give the high/low for the last 24 hours in smaller numbers. They take a single AA battery.

I had looked at places like WalMart in Canada, and Target when I was in the US, with no luck. Then my local hardware store had an Acurite, and it was even on sale!
