Crabbie n00bie

Howdy fellow crabbies. Just checking in here to say hi. Looks like a laid back site.
I care for one hermie that my grandson brought over from his house. He needed
a new home really, and Mom didn't want to care for it anymore, nor was she doing a decent job. I have been researching info since around the beginning of March. I got a 20 gallon tank and set em up with a nice deep base, and the basic amenities. (I've been adding to it little by little.)
Around the end of March, Herman went under to molt for 31 days. My wife was so happy to see him walking around. And me too....
I added a few varieties of new pants. And he was happy to try them all on, and I was happy to get that blaze orange shell out of there.
I'll read up on here when I have more free time. I'll also post up a pic when I can find one small enough to fit the parameters.
Thanks for checkin in.

I'm so happy that Herman is okay! I would recommend getting another/more crabs however as hermit crabs are very social creatures and need friends. A 20 gallon tank is the perfect size for 2 crabs. Although bigger is always better. Hope you have a great day/night! Update us!
