saltwater and freshwater mix?

I feel quite happy with my current set up!
Tomorrow I'm probably gonna go to Hobby Lobby and get more shells and my Instant Ocean is on the way, I've got substrate about 3x my largest crab size, two coconut huts, two water trays, and some climbing stuff! I've got a hygrometer and a thermometer! The only thing I'm a little worried about is if my tank is too crowded.

Looking good! Did you boil the sponge and is kept dry for munching? And I hope ones you get ur little guys some natrual shells they change out of the painted ones! My smaller crab is being stubborn about switching out of her painted shell even though she has like 8 options in her size range, but I can't force her, so I gotta wait it out!

Me too! No my sponge isn't boiled but it's a natural sea sponge that absorbed primed water!

I would recommend boiling it, letting it dry, and putting it in dry so they can munch on it and roll it around for fun (my crabs love the dry sponge for whatever reason)! Wet sponges can get harmful bacteria on them that isn't good for crabs, that's why they are no longer a commonly used practice in the crabbing community! They do like to eat them tho! And my crabs roll theirs all over the tank!

I hope they like it! One of my crabs legit put it over their half built tunnel entrance right before they filled themselves in!
