So...

One of my crabs (Crystal) died. I have 4 crabs left.

I have 2 crabs in each of the 10 gallon tanks. Eyeballs and Ocean are in one, and Moss and Teddy are in the other. In each tank, one crab is underground and one is above ground. Do the crabs scare each other, so they take turns above ground? Or is this normal?

This is normal behavior. Each crab has their own agency for digging, sometimes they alternate, sometimes they all happen to be in the same place at once
