New to hermit crabs...kinda

Post by Yin-fen » Sun Feb 01, 2015 9:22 pm

I have owned marine hermits in the past, but I'm probably going to start keeping land ones within the next few years! I am pet experienced, and I currently have lots of fuzzy little dudes (Hamsters, dogs, guinea pig, etc). However my father has stated I could get another pet after I get back down to my one guinea pig (My one hamster is elderly, my one dog is elderly, my one hamster has a genetic condition that has shortened his life span, and my rat is 1 years old this april). I have considered getting another hamster, but their lives are just so short :( I've done a ton of research, but I have a lot more to do, so I figured joining a forum would be helpful.
Thanks :)

Welcome!! Sounds like you'll have plenty of time to do research and set up an awesome crabitat. :D There is so much awesome info on the site, and everyone is super nice and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
