New to crabbing and have some Q's

I haven't baked my crabitate items. I'd rather not have it catch on fire.

Also boiling with salt water is double duty to sanitize and anti mold. I'd thinking submerging and boiling a few minutes would kill bugs in it. Not sure if baking would be more effective at the insides. In more concerned with the surface and near surface for mold and crabs eating it. Guess baking is fine especially for large things
