Is coconut husk the same as the eco-earth substrate?

No, it’s the same material but the husk is in larger chunks. Not as good for digging.

Which would be better for them the husk and sand mix or straight sand until I can get the eco-earth

I’d recommend straight playsand from your local hardware and yard store. It’ll be easier to work with.

Ok so I ordered a 500ml bottle of prime. It only gives directions for 50 gallons. Can someone plz explain to me how to mix like a gallon??

You got a big bottle of Prime! You need two drops per gallon.

Ok and my smallest crab I noticed today has lost half of his small claw! Should I be worried about him? Can he still eat??

As long as he still has his other claw and all of his limbs he should be alright
