I got 2 new E's!

I wasn't planning on ever getting any E's but after watching them run around the tank at the pet store, I had to get a couple. They are both around half dollar size and so fun to watch. I got the two with the worst looking shells, one is covered in barnacles and the other is way too small.

I'll try to get pics in the next couple days, I'm hoping they will switch shells soon.

Congrats! I wasn't planning on getting Es either. But I accidentally got one prior to knowing about the different species and now I'm in love with them! They're so active and mischievous! Post pics when you can.

I could only get pictures of butthead, bevis dug down the first night home.

Is his shell too small? The opening looks tiny


He is pretty shy, didn't really want to come out to say hi.

Es like tight shells, and almost all of them are stubborn as heck about changing out of something they are in. Don't worry yourself about it! Give them options, they'll change when they are good and ready.

Its nice having crabs active during the day, I can usually find Butthead looking at me or running around checking things out. Can't wait until Bevis comes back up, he has a more outgoing personality. So far the E's and PP's are getting along but I am a bit worried for my little PP's when they molt, hope the boys aren't attackers.
I know he'll switch shells when he is good and ready. I have a ton of shells in the cage and got a bunch more new so there is more sizes now. He was checking out a new shell a couple days ago but my my big PP's was out and about and went stomping though everything and scared butthead.
