Hello All!
Hello All!
So, first post. I'm not new to hermies, and have been following the HCA on Facebook for quite some time, but am new to the forum!
Guess I'll let you all know who I am. I'm 29yrs old, female, and engaged to the most amazing woman in the world. I live with her and work full time at an answering service, though would much rather be doing what I really love; writing. I also make clay figurines, though "specialize" in Zombehz (my own term for the cute flesh eaters I make lol), and have a Facebook page for them, which can be found in my profile. I am still considering going back to college for Vet Assistant. I'm also Wiccan/Pagan and Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian.
Most of my family is about an hour East of me, where I lived the first 23yrs of my life, then another three yrs in the general area before moving. I miss them horribly as travel is hard, especially as my father passed away late August. My fiance's family is mostly in the GTA, so also hard to visit.
Along with writing and clay work, I love playing video games, watching Netflix (we don't have cable right now), drawing, reading, hanging out with my friends and family, and taking care of my animals. I also enjoy dying my hair (though keeping it black mostly now), and tattoos (I have 9 small ones and have one set up for a memorial to my dad once my tax return comes in )
We currently have four cats (one mine before I moved in), and I have two African Dwarf Frogs. I've had almost every type of rodent, but rats have always been my favourite. I've also had birds, lots of types of reptiles, dogs growing up, and of course a wide assortment of fish. I've also had hermies before several times, though was certainly a learning curve growing up for their proper care.
I'm currently crabless, but met a wonderful person through the HCA Facebook who is only a few hours away and needing to rehome her's and we're set up for me to take them in, just waiting on sorting out transportation while I await a new tank from a friend that will be big enough. I am super excited about having hermies again!
Any questions feel free to ask!

Re: Hello All!
Thanks so much! I'm sure I will still have LOTS of questions Each and every one seems to be so different in personality and attitude heh Right now I'm waiting on a 35 gallon tank from a friend, as I have a small terrarium (one of those with the doors and a couple inches underneath) I want to try and attach to make a larger second level of sorts. Saw it on Pinterest, as with all the crabitat ideas I've wanted to try (and 90% of my wedding planning ) and will have lots of questions with that I'm sure. It'll be fun though! Would love to be friends, I've missed having a nice community for something like this.
