3 new adoptees

I got contacted last week from my post in the adoption area and picked these little guys up last night. They are in ISO for a while and enduring daily baths as their previous owner had found some mites a few weeks back, but I haven't seen any evidence of them.

Introduction time. Sorry no names yet.

This little guy is the shy one of the bunch and the only one that hasn't changed shells...but he already had the best of what had been available so no worries there.

This is the smallest, but certainly inquisitive enough to make up for his size.

And last but certainly not the least is this little guy. By far the most active. I saw him trying out new shells within minutes of my adding them. He's been in at least 2 new shells since I got him, but judging by how tossed the extra shells were this morning he may have tried them all on last night.

Update.
On night number 2 after getting these little guys, the one in the green shell dug down. And while I wish him well I had hoped that he would have waited until I'd been able to get them in the big tank.

Be strong little dude and I hope to see you soon.

Kudos for giving them a chance.

Thanks. I actually have had better luck with adoptions than buying from a pet shop. My largest and most active crab, Goliath, was my 1st adoption.

Was planning on moving these 3 into the big tank on Tuesday and putting the ISO away. But I guess I'll have to keep the ISO running until he resurfaces.

Ok, so one last follow up. Two of these guys are down in my ISO molting. Both went down with the 1st week I got them and haven't been up since.

The last one I moved into the main tank and he's been eating a lot and seems to have settled on an over sized tapestry turbo (though he still frequently checks out other shells). Looks like he's prep'ng to go down soon too.

So, assuming all goes well for their molts, looks like they're going to all thrive in my little colony.
