New crabber, new crabs, but not first time

Post by GalaxyCrab22 » Mon Aug 29, 2016 10:35 pm

Hi everyone!! I'm not so new to having these guys. It's my second time, but this is genuinely the first time I've really gotten into them. The first time I had them I got them on a wim and didn't know a whole lot. Before I got my second set, I made sure I had everything in order and did my research. Unfortunately, one died from too much stress in the first bunch. The one that survived, Kenny, is doing well!!

I just recently got him two new friends, Pearl (pearlescent she'll), and Diesel. And I had them get acclimated to the new iso/ transport tank two days before settling them into my 10g tank with Kenny. And almost instantly he dug down. Diesel and Pearl are doing wonderfully, and I hope Kenny will adjust to having company and no mishaps. Three is the max Since these guys can move comfortably and not over crowd.

Hopefully all goes well for these guys. All three are PPs and so pretty!!!

Congrats! and welcome! When you do your research and get in the groove, keeping hermit crabs is very rewarding!
