Finally!

Post by elly_bananas » Sat Apr 29, 2017 3:41 pm

After much forum lurking, a few posts, and some serious trial and error, we have finally rescued 2 lil guys from pet smart here in Ma. (Tho my husband was a bit embarrassed that i chewed them out regarding the conditions they were kept in)

Ive ironed out all my heating and humidity issues the last 2 weeks preparing the habitat thanks to alot of great info from some serious and helpful crabbers in this forum. I thank you.

Our 2 lil guy's (PP's) seem to already be enjoying themselves and 1 even started digging after a half hour. Tho hes not digging in a good enough spot since its a tunnel with a glass with only a few inches of sub inside it. Cant dig ANYWHERE else huh? Ha. Typical, just like a child.

I look forward to expanding, quickly i hope, and learning new things and just watching these guys be silly. Pics to come soon enough. Theyre a bit camera shy right now. :D
She thought she could, so she did!

Thank you! Im so obsessed! My son loves em too! I could only snap this 1 pic. The other guy barricaded himself in the tunnel with a wall of sub. I wish he would come out to eat ANYTHING!Image

Adorable! Congratulations and have fun with your little guys! My littlest crab looks to be about that size. He was my first molter. :). Let us know how they do!
