HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hi, My name is Debra, and I live on Long Island, NY... I recently started up a 29 gallon Hermit crab tank, But I also own a dog, 2 cats and a bunny. I'm not sure what else to say, so if anyone has anything they want to know about me just ask.....

Hi Debra! My name is Ciara. I'm from Lake Charles, La. I have 2 dogs, fish, a snake, and 2 crabs. My boyfriend has recently tried getting into cherry red shrimp tanks, but he's having trouble getting the water just right. I'm steadily adding to my 20 gal long tank for my crabs. They're both PPs, very lazy things.
I'm new here also, just found this wonderful site about a month or two ago. If you ever have time, just read old posts in the different forums, they're very informational!! I've learned A LOT from here.
I'd love to see pictures of your tank, and hear more about your fam! Welcome to the HCA!

Hi Debra! I'm from Long Island. Lived in almost every town. Lol. But I've lived in East Tennessee for the past 14 yrs. In the 9 months since I started crabbing, I've worked up to a 90 gal with 6 crabs. I also have a dog. I would have more but my husband tolerates what we have now. Lol.

HI Debra, I'm Amanda and I've been crabbing since January. I have recently just got a new 60gal and have 4 crabs. I had crabs when I was a kid and thought I knew what I was doing till I found the HCA and realized everything I read and did was wrong. I have learned so much from everyone in here. My son is 6 and theae are our only pets. I loving teaching him about crabs. He named them Bob, Kevin, Stuart, and Gru lol. Happy crabbing!
