Websites with Good Shells :) Concerns about my lid!!

Hello,
I am currently in the process of getting 3 new hermit crabs, for the first time, in a 10 gallon tank. The plan is to get all things needed within the next two weeks. I have ordered shells from eBay at a seemingly good price for a pack of 10. It was a bit difficult to find because I didn't know the shape or size of the hermies that I am getting but I wanted a variety since they are in painted shells.

Does anybody have good affordable websites or links for shells good for hermies? I got them turbo due to my research saying those are the best for them.

I know that it is not recommended to have hermit crabs as pets but a friend I know who works at this Petco says small crabs usually get thrown away after a while of no adopting.

I also have a screen lid and heating pad that I'll stick to the side, how do I keep the humidity in? I've read people using plastic wrap but should I just buy a glass lid? If I do need to use a different way someone else said a blanket will just be fine. I have many more questions but these few are my concerns at the moment.

You won’t want to use a towel or blanket without first covering the screen in some type of plastic, or it will absorb the moisture and counteract the effect you are going for. I personally used press n seal on my screen too, with two single pane mirrors upside down on that to hold in heat. (I just happened to have them and they’re a perfect fit!) So glass lids are easy to use and care for and hold the humidity and heat in well. They are more of a convenience than a necessity, as you may prefer to spend that $ elsewhere for now!

Welcome! Have you read through the care sheets? There's tons of really good info there, you may find answers to some of your other questions. If not, just ask!
Many of us have used plastic wrap over the top of our tanks, it hold in humidity. A blanket can be put over top of the plastic wrap to help hold in heat, but a blanket alone won't keep the humidity in. You could get a glass or plexi glass lid if you want. I used plastic wrap on my 10 and then 20 gallon tanks.....then when I upgraded to a 55 gallon, it came with a plexi glass lid! You will find that as your crabs grow, and as you get more into crabbing, you will want larger and larger tanks! LOL!
A pack of shells like you bought is a good idea to start, until you get your crabs and see their sizes. If you check the care sheets, there is one about proper shells. And here's where you can find shopping resources. I have ordered from Naples with good success:

Any plastic can be taped town with packing tape. Even though it's press and seal, it won't be tight enough seal without taping down.

Certain dollar stores sell super cheap bags of shells with a few usable green turbos. I got the rest of mine from Naples Seashell Company @ around $1-2 per shell and $6.75 shipping - they responded quickly when I wanted to add to an order I had recently placed and got me taken care of

I’ll try to remember to snap a pic when I get back to my tanks! I did use a couple little pieces of tape to hold the stuff extra good, but the press n seal is like a ton of tiny suction cups, and stuck right to the edges of my screen lid all the way around. So it does hold it in on its own, but since you’ll have to be touching it etc some tape in the critical areas is a necessity.

As for shells- yes, I also love Naples! They’ve been so good to me. I live about an hour from them, and I had a crabmergency, so they even came out and met me so I could have them faster for my new big guy. (He was stuffed in a tiny shell at the time and he was bigger than any other I had already!) Good peeps and good business. And I’m always poking around on EBay and places, you can find some random stuff that way sometimes too.
