Hi Crabbers,
I am new to hermit crabs. I have researched for months lurking on forums, trawling the crabstreet journal and watching all the crab central station videos. I finally brought 5 purple pincher crabs home a week ago today. Sadly 1 hasn't made it so far which I am putting down to PPS. I think they have gone without molting a long Time so after losing one yesterday decided to go ahead and fully set up the crabitat. What a change in their behaviour! They were climbing eating drinking amd she shopping. This morning I think 3 have swapped shells overnight because I can see 3 of their shells on the substrate. They could be in there chilling but didn't want to disturb them, so will see what happens tonight. I am addicted already and look forward to adding to my tank as they adjust. Be good to hear from any other UK people and I am hoping g to become.e an active member and learn more and more.
