Bean- bluish gray, pretty small.
Species: unknown, suspecting E
Rocky Road- bluish gray? Could be a type of tan as well. Noticeable darker brown stripes on legs, white on bottom of claws I think and on neck
Species: unknown
Sakura- biggest crab of the bunch. Lighter red with a purple big claw. Unsure on gender but I'm going with female for now (hence her namesake, she seems like a fairly gentle giant who keeps to herself so far. Named her after a character from Danganronpa with a similar personality)
Species: heavy chance of being a PP
Two unnamed PPs I got today, they are fairly active and small, adjusting to the new tank. Rocky Road spooked one with a shell spin to say hi. Bean has no obvious issues with them so far. Sakura really hasn't left the coconut hide yet today.

What are the eye shapes? I might suspect and E as well. Ecuadorians are usually very active with the last segment of their legs being darker than the rest. There are some good articles out here about identification. I'm also thinking Maybe a Blueberry? I only own PPs though. Heres a good article https://wereallaboutpets.com/types-of-hermit-crabs

I believe all of them with the exception of the ones I know are PP's or suspect so have more oval shaped eyes. Rocky Road could be a E, its got a very similar marble like look on the body. Bean is very similar to this, but is more of a grayish blue tone.Hermiecrab wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 6:11 pmWhat are the eye shapes? I might suspect and E as well. Re: My crab gang!
E's have very large eyes, while pp's eyes usually follow the line of their eyestalks. I hope I've helped!
Best of luck
