A New Beginning

Hello everyone, my name is Parker! It has been about 5 years since I was last active on this forum. I have decided to get back into the hermit crab owner life and be active once again on here. I made the first step of obtaining a 29 gallon tank, some substrate, and water treatments. I do not have the crabs yet and I'm still trying to figure out the best way to obtain some. Unfortunately I cannot find anyone around my area (St. George, Utah) who needs their crabs adopted. I don't want to support local pet stores who have their crabs in terrible conditions, but I don't know many other options at this moment.
I also am going to try my hardest to be on a smaller scale this time as my last crabitat was a 55 gallon with 6 crabs. Let's see how well I keep to that... I will post a picture of my last crabitat just to share.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to everyone and start my exciting hermit crab journey again. Oh, and I also am looking through the care guides and it doesn't seem like much has changed as far as the recommended standards for caring for hermit crabs in the last 5 years. But if anyone knows of something that has been discovered recently on crab care that I may not be aware of, please share. I'm looking forward to being a part of the community again!
