HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hey, everybody. My crabs have been living with me for about one week and I have never seen them swimming in the water. For the first couple days they had two deep jar lids and yesterday I made them new pools. I also checked to see if they could get in and out of them. My crabs sleep during the day and eat and walk at night. I kept an eye on them and they never got into the water... I moved the pools closer to their favorite house, but they still won't get in. I don't know what to do

Looks like they can climb in if they want to. Some crabs aren’t really swimmers and don’t go in very often
