HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hello again, everyone. I recently did a post about how one of my crabs is introverted and the other is extroverted. I have a pretty big terrarium, so I got another friend for my crabs.
I felt sorry for this little guy because he had a few legs bitten off, so I took him home and I wanted to see if it was a problem. I know that crabs are able to regrow their limbs during the molt.
The pet store had about 80 crabs in one terrarium, so I'm not surprised that my new crab is missing a couple legs....
So I have a couple questions.
Will the other crabs try to eat him because he doesn't have a pair of legs? How long does it take for the limbs to regenerate? Are his limbs definitely bitten off or broken or is it some kind of disease? Can anyone tell me what species this crab is? (My other crabs are not red, but I have a large terrarium and lots of food, so I don't think they will fight).
I also want to add that this crab is the most active of all that I have seen in the pet store. I've been trying to catch him for about 10 minutes, lol

I’m not that good with species ID outside of what we normally see in the United States so I’ll refrain from answering there

As for general questions, if the new crab can still move around okay I doubt it’ll be eaten. If dropped due to stress or disease the legs are usually unattached at the joints, what I am seeing looks like a injury. The next molt may not fully grow them back to normal but they will slowly return with subsequent molts
