How can I tell if he's stuck?

Every time I have looked for the last couple days, this is what I've seen. I don't know where anybody else is. I have been really busy, and just don't know if he's been out of there. And of course, I am about to leave town and may be gone for as long as three and a half weeks. My husband knows the basics, but I don't know if I should try to do anything about this one before I go.

Just pick it up and try to dump him out. If he doesn't move AT ALL you may have a stuck hermit.

#1 rule of crabbing - crabs are weird.

Haha, just fine. I left town the day I posted that, left instructions for my husband to try to dump her out later on, after two or three dumps I said to just leave her be, clearly she knew what she was doing.

I had one stuck in a cholla log once and I never thought he'd come out. They're funny that way, sometimes it seems as if they like snug spaces.
