Lola and Harley are in my isolation tank right now. Why? Well, I'm doing a project in my hermit crab tank that involves digging, so I moved my crabs to the ISO. Well, Brigadier hasn't surfaced yet so I'm waiting for her to come up so I can put her in isolation with the other two and start my project. If she doesn't come up within a day or two, meaning she could possibly be molting, I'll just postpone the project for some other time and put the other two crabbies back in the main tank.
Rest in peace, Brigadier (adopted on 9/21/15)
Rest in peace, Lola (9/21/15) (adopted on 9/21/15)
Rest in peace, Harley (adopted on 4/29/16)
Rest in peace, Acuff (adopted in 5/20)

Lol! I keep our lids weighted down too. One of our larger hermies has 2 favorite spots in the tank. Either all the way down in the moss pit under the sub or all the way up at the top. His shell barely fits at the top between the glass lid and the corner guards. He has to turn his shell sideways to be able to crawl along there! Lol

I have watched one of my crabs climb up the netting and onto the suction cup. He sweeps his legs back and forth on the inside of the glass cover to feel for any openings. Believe me it's weighted down and taped down. He is intent on escaping.

My project was nothing special, I was just digging so I could make my two pools in the tank (Freshwater and Saltwater) level with the sand and use all the leftover sand for half of the tank to be a huge hill of sand. It's hard to explain, lol :D
