Yeti and Gary got in a small tussle for this freeze dried banana, Yeti won and took it to the fw bowl. How cute.

Also, meet Athena, the hermit who killed Aphrodite. This is her new set upImage

She should be able to join others after you get your new shells in, the death you had mentioned sounded like shell aggression/ an attack to a surface molter because they didn't have enough sub to dig to me. They really should have company. I totally understand if you want her to rehab a bit before giving her a tank mate, but eventually I suggest putting one of your others in with her, so she has company.

She switched shells yesterday, out of the yellow painted to the nice brown one she is in now. Then she laid upside down in the fw bowl for a few hours. I was concerned she was dying but is in the corner now. I can't keep the sub moist and they can't dig down

Is there coconut fiber mixed with the sub? It can help to keep the sub moist.

Just remember, you're doing what you can. If there aren't any down you can mist it with dechlorinated water, and churn it up until it's moldable in your hand, but not drippy. Use your best judgement, some sand is dryer than others and might need a tiny bit of water poured into it, but the idea is to not add too much water at one time, and mixing it thoroughly to make sure it's all the same consistency through before adding more water. Then make sure your whole lid is covered with the saran wrap/ some other plastic that will help keep your humidity in.
