Would cotton rope be OK to use for a new climbing toy in the habitat?

Their names are Kaladin (M) and Shallan (F). Kaladin just had his first successful molt and now they are playing shell swaps since I put new shells in but I am so happy because they were both in painted shells when I bought them and so as soon as I noticed that they each had changed, I took the painted shells out and threw them in the trash where they belong. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my crabbies!
Congrats! I'm glad they changed out of their painted shells! I have seven hermies all in a 60 gallon tat. How big is yours? Do you have a wheel, cause if not, you should really get one. I almost never see my wheel without a crab on it!

My Sheldon just changed out of his painted shell - our first shell change! :D We were so happy to see him ditch that shell. His new shell seems quite large for him, but maybe I'm just used to seeing his smaller one.

Hopefully that image works. :) If it does, that's him in the back, and his blue shell by the water dish! And that's my Peanut in the front, trying to climb the wall. Sheldon's old blue shell has been removed from the tank, but I might hold on to it for a while. For reminiscing purposes.

One of my crabs quirks is that they enjoy stacking up on one another and going to sleep. It's quite funny when the bigger ones try to sit on top of the smaller ones shells! Picture is attached: Image

Very cute. How do you know when they're sleeping?

When they're sleeping on top of each other they all sort of start leaning against the glass towards the tank heater haha! Then sometimes there's a loud clunk that comes from the tank because they lost their balance and toppled over onto the sand!

Kamari has been sitting on top of a clam shell eating olive oil all day long. Though I suspect an impending molt may be the reason for this behavior.

Ok. So this guy is apparently walking in the wheel but the wheel isn't turning. Why would that be?Image

It's caught on something - I'd bet a leaf from that vine. I set mine up similarly & had to adjust the vines around the wheel a bit so it wouldn't snag.
