The Return of Dirk

Post by piratetoothgir » Wed Mar 28, 2018 8:39 am

February 28th, my older hermit crab Dirk, went underground after I changed the look of the tank.

He was gone for a full month, and I started to become concerned about him, but I knew I shouldn’t be too worried!

Today, he just pops back up, acting like nothing ever happened!
Wow, it’s so strange how they do that!

He didn't molt because he had just molted a month prior to this.
Must have been destressing after being moved to a larger tank. I am just glad he's back!

That's like how my newest crab went down for around 5 months before suddenly appearing. Didn't show any signs of having mooted either
