It's a necessity to change food and water so he'll be ok. And since your EE is dry, you'll def have no choice but to mist.

You should not add more substrate right now if he is molting. Do not try to bury him. They need to dig to make their own burrows, we can't make a proper molting burrow. If he is going to molt where he is, you just need to try to keep temperature and humidity in a good range, keep it dark and private where he is, and leave him alone as much as possible. Good luck!

Thankyou! Earlier I peeked on him and he had a fat bubble on him I think I read somewhere that that has something to do with molting? He doesn't have it on him anymore. I will try to leave him alone as much as possible. I will keep everyone updated!

Okay, now is probably a good time then to make sure you have a good amount of substrate (either play sand or "Eco Earth" or a mix of the two) that is properly moist ("sand castle" consistency, so if you put your finger down in it, the hole your finger makes will stay well-formed, but no water pooling at the bottom). You need to use dechlorinated water, or filtered spring water, or distilled water to moisten the substrate.

If you're doing all of the other things they need that are basics - above that you could try some organic spinach and organic greens , deep colored leafy veggies. Whenever mine have that they get a very dark and deep color, even one that is basically a pale Orange color we'll get a few hints of purple and red on his claw. He also has been very pale at times on and off. Almost like a flesh color.... I'm not sure if that is diet related or not because my other one is always a purple and deep red color. Maybe you just have a pale crab?
