Sleeping

Post by Jaydick484 » Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:15 am

Is it common for crabs to fall asleep in their oil dish?
And is he really asleep when his legs are out and his eyes? He does this a lot, sort of freezes still and just stares. I figure he's lonely or bored. :( still looking for an adoptive friend. This is during the day when he is less active.

Hermit crabs will sleep wherever they want, usually where they feel safe. If there isn’t much in the tank for enrichment they can show signs of boredom

Yeah, he's got to be lonely. Every day without his two molting friends seems so long!
