It's gotten to the point where if I see him climbing the lid I just get him down immediately because otherwise he just... doesn't come down at all. Like I've said, I already have a plan to prevent this in the future with an Acrylic lid that I'm gonna drill holes into for proper airflow, but I can't start working on that for a while due to bills & a few other issues. I'm a recent adopter of a little Hermit Crab I've named Marcel (from Marcel the Shell with Shoes on

How does he get up there? Maybe just remove anything that lets him climb up that high.
