They usually tuck up when they're sleeping or hide. If they're out of their shell they're just chillin, checking out the world, being bumps on a log, you know. Nada. :D

Yup. when they sleep they generally pull the front of the shell down over their eyes like a giant sombrero. Siesta Time...But sometimes they sit motionless just staring and no feeler movement..They're sleeping but their eyes are open because they can't blink...They feel safe enough to sleep right there.

I think it's so cute when they fall asleep in the food dish...Awww. Cute little guy!

thats a good thing then! my first guy, Balla, will climb ontop of this rock i have in there, with cocofiber bridged over it, (more hiding spaces), and he just SITS there all day. i have seen him with the shell over his eyes, i think its funny and cute, but other times heck climb on top and just sit there, chillin i guess *shrugs*

I wondered the same thing about my own here recently... I have a 10-gal and it's pretty much stable at 75-80 degrees (too hot?) They just dig and lay, dig and lay. Mostly it's lay until handled, then they are awake and they come out when I make my clucking sound to them. It's as if I'm playing the morning bugle. What gives??
