The last few days I've been placing dead guppies in the tat for the crabbies to eat, and more often than not, the guppies are gone by the next morning, but twice now I've gotten up and had a look in the tat to find guppies half-eaten and in the salt water dish.
Why would crabs drag fish back into water? Lol, do they realise that fish belong in water or are they trying to add a salty taste to a fish?
Does anyone else have crabs that drag food into the water?

I found a big 'ol chunk of apple in the water dish a couple of days ago. I was trying to think how it could have been knocked in by accident since the food is nowhere near the water.
Maybe their fresh water needed some flavor
. Or maybe they get thirsty while they're eating and just forget to let go of their meal.
